Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and improve end-to-end investigative workflows, owning features from back-end data services to front-end interfaces.
• Integrate GenAI and LLM-powered capabilities into agent tooling to augment financial crime investigations.
• Drive UX improvements by identifying and eliminating repetitive agent actions and improving system integrations.
• Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and observable back-end services for case management and automation logic.
• Contribute to access control and security improvements to protect customer data and investigation integrity.
• Instrument and analyze agent behavior using front-end analytics and back-end data models to prioritize improvements.
• Take ownership of the technical roadmap, manage complexity, and mentor other engineers on the team.

Requirements

• Demonstrable full-stack engineering experience with the ability to build both user-facing interfaces and back-end services.
• Proficiency with APIs, event-driven architectures, and relational databases.
• Experience owning technical roadmaps and delivering complex projects with a predictable cadence.
• Strong ability to design scalable, reliable, and secure systems with long-term iteration in mind.
• Proven experience in mentorship and supporting the continuous improvement of engineering teams.
• Ability to lead incident resolution and participate in post-incident processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building internal tooling or back-office systems for operational teams.
• Background working in regulated environments such as financial services, compliance, or trust & safety.
• Familiarity with LLM integration patterns or GenAI-powered product features.
