Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex technical initiatives and contribute to large-scale strategic planning
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects, including upgrades and deployments
• Resolve complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve technical issues and achieve organizational goals
• Act as an escalation point and provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or education

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of JVM performance tuning and memory management
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB performance tuning and optimization
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into DevOps workflows
• Experience using service virtualization to support stable performance testing
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts applied to performance monitoring and anomaly detection
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to root cause analysis
• Proficiency with documentation tools like JIRA and Confluence
