Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex technical initiatives, including design, coding, testing, and debugging for large-scale software projects.
• Contribute to large-scale strategic planning and technical domain upgrades.
• Resolve complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
• Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to achieve technical goals and resolve issues.
• Act as an escalation point and provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to less experienced staff.
• Evaluate and onboard new tools and technologies to improve team productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring framework (including Spring Boot).
• Experience designing and building microservices and web services.
• Front-end development experience with ReactJS, Angular, or NodeJS.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL Server.
• Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, GCP, or PCF/OCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD technologies (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the payments domain (Wires/SWIFT, ISO 20022).
• Familiarity with messaging services like Kafka or Solace.
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch and caching solutions like Redis or Ignite.
• Experience with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot or LLM-based workflows.
• Relevant cloud certifications (Azure or GCP).
