Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex technical initiatives and design scalable solutions within a full-stack environment
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects, including upgrades and deployments
• Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business needs into technical requirements and story refinements
• Provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff and act as an escalation point for technical challenges
• Ensure alignment with technology standards, banking architecture, and modernization strategies like cloud readiness and AI adoption
• Comply with Agile and DevOps practices to enable faster and more predictable delivery cycles

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Full stack development expertise
• Proficiency in Java 8 and Spring Boot
• Experience with Angular and RESTful or SOAP web services
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
• Proficiency with Oracle DB and SQL Server
• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Maven/Gradle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test frameworks including Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and Mockito
• Knowledge of microservices principles, patterns, and cloud computing concepts
• Experience with APM tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Proficiency in PL/SQL development and working knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Experience using AI tools to improve engineering productivity
