Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex technical initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments
• Contribute to large-scale strategic planning and technical domain architecture
• Resolve complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to achieve technical goals and resolve issues
• Provide guidance, direction, and escalation support to less experienced staff

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience in designing and developing distributed streaming applications and microservices
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and Spring frameworks
• Experience with Cloud technologies, specifically Openshift
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, Solace, or MQ
• Proficiency with PLSQL and Oracle databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Kubernetes, Harness, Selenium, Jira, Splunk, and AppD
• Working knowledge of distributed caching technologies like Redis
• Experience with SOAP/REST web services and API Gateway (Apigee)
• Familiarity with Containerization and Copilot Gen AI tools
• Experience with MongoDB and .Net application maintenance
