Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex technology initiatives and contribute to large-scale data processing frameworks
• Build and maintain optimized, highly available data pipelines to support enterprise strategy and analytics
• Oversee data integration work, including data modeling, warehouse maintenance, and script development
• Resolve complex technical challenges and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables
• Collaborate with managers and colleagues to resolve engineering issues and achieve strategic goals
• Ensure compliance with data information policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 4+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong expertise in SQL development and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, Scala)
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools including Dataproc, BigQuery, Dataplex, and Cloud Composer
• Understanding of SDLC and CI/CD processes, including version control with Git
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and designing star/snowflake schemas

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data warehousing and analytics
• Exposure to AI/ML models and Generative AI frameworks
• Knowledge of Agentic AI for automation and development acceleration
• Experience supporting data pipelines specifically for AI/ML workloads
