Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex technical initiatives, including design, coding, testing, and debugging of software solutions
• Contribute to large-scale strategic planning and technical domain development
• Resolve complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to achieve project goals and resolve issues
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced staff
• Act as an escalation point for projects and ensure compliance with functional and policy requirements

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Expertise in Java and the Spring framework (including Spring Boot)
• Strong experience in designing and building microservices and web services
• Proficiency in front-end development using ReactJS, Angular, or NodeJS
• Experience with MongoDB and relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of messaging services like Kafka or Solace
• Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure, GCP, or PCF
• Proficiency with CI/CD technologies including Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the payments domain with knowledge of Wires/SWIFT and ISO 20022
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch and indexing concepts
• Knowledge of GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot and LLM-based workflows
• Experience with caching solutions like Redis, Ignite, or Coherence
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Cloud migration experience or Azure/GCP certifications
