Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives and design scalable cloud-native solutions using Java and microservices architectures
• Design, code, test, debug, and document complex projects and programs
• Review technical challenges and provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-performance solutions using Agile and DevOps practices
• Contribute to large-scale strategic planning and end-to-end product development lifecycles
• Resolve complex technical issues and act as an escalation point for the team

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework (including Spring Boot)
• Experience with UI technologies such as Angular or React
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies like OpenShift or PCF
• Experience developing RESTful Web services and microservices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or Selenium

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and object-oriented design (OOA/OOD)
• Experience with Autosys or similar orchestration tools
• Proficiency in Python and building scalable, high-availability systems
