Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex technical initiatives, including design, coding, testing, and debugging of software solutions
• Contribute to large-scale strategic planning and technical domain architecture
• Resolve complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to achieve technical goals and resolve issues
• Provide guidance, direction, and coding oversight to less experienced staff members
• Participate in the full end-to-end product lifecycle using Agile and DevOps practices

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework (including Spring Boot and Spring MVC)
• Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular or React
• Experience with Cloud technologies like PCF or OpenShift
• Knowledge of RESTful Web services and Microservices architecture
• Experience with database management using Oracle, MongoDB, or SQL Server
• Proficiency with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or Selenium

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) and Java design patterns
• Experience developing client-side UI components and consuming/exposing services
• Background in delivering cloud-native solutions within an Agile environment
• Ability to design and maintain efficient, test-driven code
