Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead application security initiatives by designing, coding, testing, and documenting secure software solutions
• Drive the adoption of secure coding practices across engineering teams
• Report and track vulnerability remediation for the application portfolio
• Review and implement security recommendations within application design and architecture
• Establish instruction templates leveraging Copilot to help developers detect vulnerabilities early in the development cycle
• Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve technical challenges and provide guidance to less experienced staff

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with application security tools, practices, and frameworks
• Proficiency in secure coding practices with the ability to detect and remediate vulnerabilities
• Experience with Java or .NET development and familiarity with GitHub
• Proficiency in Static Code Analysis (SAST) using tools like Checkmarx
• Proficiency in Software Composition Analysis (SCA) using tools like Blackduck
• Familiarity with Dynamic Testing Platforms (DAST) such as Burpsuite or Invicti
• Foundational knowledge of Threat Modeling and Secure Design/Architecture
• Thorough understanding of Agile development and CI/CD automation
