Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives by designing, coding, testing, and documenting software solutions for Wholesale Operations
• Develop and support .NET-based utilities and Python-based automation solutions
• Implement pragmatic AI/ML and GenAI solutions to improve operational efficiency and productivity
• Design and consume REST APIs and integrate various systems within the technical domain
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to identify and implement automation opportunities
• Mentor junior engineers on code quality, automation mindsets, and problem-solving approaches

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering or automation experience
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, C#, and Python
• Experience developing front-end applications using React
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Working knowledge of cloud environments, preferably Azure

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML or GenAI (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering) for automation
• Experience with agentic or orchestration frameworks for multi-step automation
• Familiarity with Wholesale Banking operations, such as reconciliations or settlements
• Experience with intelligent automation platforms like Xceptor
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot
