About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead technical initiatives by designing, coding, testing, and deploying secure, scalable microservices and responsive user interfaces
- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot-based microservices and RESTful APIs following established design patterns
- Build modern, responsive front-end applications using React and supporting technologies
- Collaborate with product partners and mid-level managers in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Participate in code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and mentor junior engineers
- Resolve complex technical challenges and provide guidance to less experienced staff
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE development
- 3+ years of experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- 3+ years of experience developing UI applications using React (including Redux or similar state management)
- 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gradle)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GenAI/LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering and RAG
- Experience building or integrating Agentic AI solutions and multi-agent workflows
- Familiarity with financial services technologies and banking processes
- Experience with business process or workflow tools like Camunda
- Exposure to event streaming platforms such as Kafka
- Experience managing applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
