Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives, including the design, coding, testing, and debugging of complex software solutions
• Contribute to large-scale strategic planning and technical domain development
• Prepare detailed technical and solution design documentation
• Resolve complex technical challenges and act as an escalation point for the team
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to less experienced staff
• Collaborate with peers, managers, and stakeholders to achieve project goals and resolve issues
• Work closely with production teams to provide issue clarification and guidance

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and Object-Oriented development
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and API development
• Hands-on experience with messaging frameworks such as Kafka and Apache Camel
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
• Strong understanding of RDBMS and Document databases
• Experience with OCP and Kubernetes
• Experience using Splunk to query application logs
• Experience working in a combined onsite/offshore model
