Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex technical initiatives and contribute to large-scale strategic planning
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects including upgrades and deployments
• Resolve complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve technical issues and achieve organizational goals
• Provide guidance, direction, and escalation support to less experienced staff members

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Strong development experience in Python and PySpark
• Hands-on experience and understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts
• Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, and job scheduling
• Experience with API development, API Gateways, and Microservices
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or udeploy/harness
• Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies
• Experience with automated testing
• Strong debugging and investigative skills to identify root cause problems
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment across multiple time zones
