Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of highly scalable microservices and event-driven architectures
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects associated with technology domain upgrades and deployments
• Build and optimize event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
• Develop cloud-native applications following best practices for scalability, resiliency, and observability
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries using SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions aligned with business requirements
• Provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff and act as an escalation point for technical challenges

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Core Java, including multithreading, concurrency, and JVM internals
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
• Experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, partitions, and offset management)
• Proficiency with SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Experience with React.js, including modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS
• Strong background in cloud-native design principles and stateless services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows using Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain experience in Client Onboarding, KYC, AML, or Enterprise Integration platforms
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCP)
• Knowledge of observability tools such as logging, monitoring, and tracing
• Familiarity with security best practices in distributed systems
