About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex technical initiatives and contribute to large-scale strategic planning
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software for various technology domain projects
- Resolve complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to achieve technical goals and resolve issues
- Act as an escalation point and provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff members
- Develop microservices and design robust APIs within a large-scale financial environment
Requirements
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Java and the Spring framework
- Proven experience with Distributed Systems and Microservices architecture
- Experience in API design and building fault-tolerant systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on development experience with AI agents such as Copilot or Claude
- Deep understanding of large-scale financial services technology environments
