Senior Software Engineer V

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Windows Forms (WinForms) applications using C# and VB.NET
• Own major platform components and drive architectural decisions
• Develop and optimize MS Access Databases, including stored procedures, triggers, and indexing
• Perform SQL Server performance tuning and optimize database operations for large datasets
• Integrate and consume REST APIs within .NET applications
• Manage batch processing modules, scheduled jobs, and background tasks
• Mentor multiple teams and ensure engineering excellence across the product
• Implement secure coding practices and maintain clear technical documentation

Requirements

• 10–15 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in C# and VB.NET
• Extensive experience with WinForms application development and event-driven programming
• Solid knowledge of MS Access Database and complex query optimization
• Expertise in file handling, JSON processing, and PDF processing (e.g., iTextSharp, PDFSharp)
• Proven experience with REST API integration and SQL Server performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes, event-driven systems, caching, and API gateways
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, security practices, and observability tools
• Ability to influence architecture at the product or platform level
