Senior Software Engineer

About the Company

Ubona Technologies is a Bangalore-based SaaS startup providing full-stack Customer Conversation Products to large enterprises. Using AI/ML technologies, Ubona aims to reduce friction in last-mile communication through cloud telephony, contact center automation, and speech analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete lifecycle of services including design, development, testing, debugging, and rollout
• Build high-performance, scalable, and extensible applications
• Design and develop efficient code based on technical requirements
• Act as an individual contributor and manage small teams when required
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure best practices
• Introduce new technologies and frameworks to improve scalability, reliability, and security

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with core Java
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful web services
• Knowledge of building and debugging highly concurrent and multi-threaded applications
• Experience with memory optimization and GC tuning
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud resources
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix, bash scripting, and databases
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and GitHub best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
