Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Design, code, and modify software to add new features or correct defects
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Develop and implement complex algorithms and database interfaces
• Oversee software development teams and ensure work meets process constraints
• Maintain and improve build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or 4 years additional experience)
• 7 years of experience with Java SE, Python, Git, Shell/bash, Nexus, Maven, and JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3
• Experience with software architecture, requirements analysis, and code generation
• Proficiency in Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
• Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Spring Framework, Hibernate, MySQL, and Web Services
• Experience with monitoring tools like Kibana, Grafana, or Nagios
