About the role
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and optimize deployment automation tools and frameworks for microservices on Kubernetes
- Develop internal tools including CLIs, dashboards, and automation bots to enhance developer productivity
- Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and health-check systems using Prometheus and Grafana
- Partner with SRE, Infrastructure, Security, and Kubernetes platform teams to evolve deployment tooling
- Mentor junior engineers on architecture, code quality, and performance
- Evaluate and prototype emerging technologies for deployment automation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 6 years of experience in software engineering or a related role
- 5 years of experience with design patterns and software architecture
- Proficiency in one or more of: C#, Java, C, C++, or SQL
- 3 years of experience with Cloud Computing/Virtualization and Docker
- 2 years of experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD
- 1 year of experience with ArgoCD
