Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality, scalable web experiences within the Open TTD platform, including persona-based spaces and embedded application integrations.
• Contribute to backend services and APIs that power the portal, including authentication flows, access control, and partner onboarding.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and partner engineering teams to translate complex requirements into reliable solutions.
• Own features end-to-end, from initial scoping and design through implementation, testing, and production monitoring.
• Drive technical quality by participating in design reviews and code reviews to establish scalable patterns and practices.
• Help evolve the technical architecture of OpenTTD to support new personas and integrations with the broader platform.

Requirements

• Strong frontend and full-stack development skills with production experience building complex web applications.
• Proficiency with modern React-based frontends.
• Experience working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with backend services in C# or similar languages.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical teammates and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and testing.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, high-visibility, greenfield environment.
