Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build fullstack product workflows for Alamo, the internal MES/ERP system
• Design and implement production-grade frontend experiences using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui
• Build backend services and APIs using NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, and shared Zod contracts
• Model complex operational domains including parts, inventory, production, purchasing, and real estate
• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and design teams to translate real-world processes into software
• Own features from discovery through implementation, rollout, and long-term maintenance
• Improve system reliability, observability, performance, security, and developer experience

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience building fullstack web applications in TypeScript
• Deep familiarity with React and modern frontend architecture
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals including API design and data modeling
• Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL
• Track record of shipping complex product features in ambiguous environments
• Strong product judgment and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing, ERP, MES, inventory, logistics, construction, or industrial software
