Senior Software Engineer, Test

Responsibilities

• Act as a quality advocate collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers
• Design and deliver risk-based test plans using various methods including scenario, exploratory, and automated testing
• Ensure vertical releases meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Pair with software engineers to identify coverage gaps and build regression test coverage
• Provide feedback on new functionality, features, and process changes
• Identify and prevent corner case defects

Requirements

• 5-10 years of software development or test framework development experience
• Proficiency in Javascript, Java, or Python
• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure tools like AWS or GCP
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, Cypress, Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, or Jest
• Expertise in test-driven development (TDD) across unit, integration, and functional test levels
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical problems clearly
