Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and extend software for large-scale test systems incorporating multiple software layers
• Develop operating software for capital equipment, factory information systems, and application software
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers to diagnose and resolve complex system issues
• Partner with global design teams to ensure seamless integration and performance
• Work on-site in North Reading, MA, with moderate travel required to the US and Southeast Asia

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience
• Expert proficiency in C# .NET programming on Windows using Visual Studio
• Extensive experience developing distributed and multi-threaded applications
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the semiconductor or test equipment industry
• Experience with Machine Vision or WPF
• Knowledge of capital equipment, factory integration, or TCP/IP
• Experience with database programming
