Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to research, develop, and deploy experiments and features
• Create, design, develop, test, and monitor code in production autonomously
• Work with Engineering and Product Managers to frame projects and ensure execution
• Provide relevant technical solutions to clients by understanding business needs
• Facilitate communication within and outside the company
• Propose and implement new technologies and architectures to solve engineering problems

Requirements

• Strong programming abilities with a focus on architecture, performance, and maintainability
• Experience with testing code as a standard practice
• Familiarity with large, high-throughput, distributed systems and large-scale data processing
• Analytical and experimental mindset for shipping production features
• Proven track record of multiple shipped software engineering projects
• Knowledge of production practices including release, observability, and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for working in a global team
