Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, deployment, and maintenance of the Chariot flagship product
• Write quality code in Go and Python
• Lead the software development life cycle from requirements to deployment
• Participate in or lead technical design discussions
• Mentor and coach junior engineers through code reviews and onboarding
• Optimize, deploy, and refine AI models and algorithms

Requirements

• 6–8 years of hands-on development experience
• Proficiency in Python
• Excellence in Go, C++, Java, C#, or Rust
• Experience with DevOps tooling (CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proven experience with cloud architecture (commercial cloud or OpenStack)
• Experience designing performant, scalable services
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational database design
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Active Secret (or above) US security clearance
• US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Understanding of synchronous/asynchronous programming and concurrency
• Experience with deep learning libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience designing RESTful, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
• Understanding of networked and distributed computing
