Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement software components for real-time sensor systems in C/C++
• Integrate signal processing algorithms into open architecture software frameworks
• Develop and execute integration tests and system-level validation tests
• Debug software issues in real-time, multi-threaded, and distributed systems
• Develop test scripts and automated testing infrastructure
• Perform hands-on lab work with signal processing hardware and test equipment
• Support system demonstrations and field testing activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including algorithm developers and systems engineers

Requirements

• Active Secret level security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Relevant experience based on degree (BS +5 years, MS +3 years, PhD +1 year)
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Experience with Git and Linux
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB
• Experience with hands-on hardware testing and lab equipment
• Experience in signal processing or real-time/embedded software development
• Knowledge of multithreaded programming and synchronization
