Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect software components and implement real-time processing pipelines
• Translate algorithm specifications from MATLAB and Python into optimized C/C++ implementations
• Optimize code for real-time performance on multi-core CPUs and GPUs
• Develop unit tests, integration tests, and performance benchmarks
• Document software designs, APIs, and technical reports
• Collaborate with algorithm developers, systems engineers, and RF hardware engineers
• Support approximately 20% travel for integration events and field demonstrations

Requirements

• Active Secret level security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
• U.S. citizenship required
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 2-5+ years of relevant work experience depending on degree level
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for high-performance real-time sensor applications
• Experience with Linux, embedded systems, and multithreaded programming
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• Understanding of RF signal processing concepts
• Experience with MATLAB or Python for algorithm prototyping
• GPU programming experience (CUDA, OpenCL)
• Experience with open architecture frameworks, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
