Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement flexible microservices and high-performance APIs within a DevSecOps ecosystem
• Take technical ownership of features within mission planning solutions, transitioning them from R&D to active use
• Collaborate with PhD scientists and engineers to translate mathematical models into production-grade software
• Build and scale software at the intersection of AI and human decision-making

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience (with BS) or 1-2+ years (with MS) building maintainable APIs and software
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem
• Strong grasp of object-oriented design patterns
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java 17+
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or NATS
• Experience with Python for AI/Data integration
