Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Development, maintenance and support of a C# .NET application
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers and other stakeholders to meet customer needs
• Write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and appropriate design patterns
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies and participate in thorough code reviews
• Debug and triage production issues with system integrations
• Optimize code and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with team members in an agile/scrum environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience building production-grade software applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
• Deep knowledge of .NET ecosystem (framework 4.8+ / .NET 8+)
• Proficiency in web technologies including C#, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Consistent application of SOLID principles and design patterns
• Experience designing and building robust APIs
• Experience implementing unit, integration, and E2E test suites
• Proficiency with version control workflows, preferably git
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog APM, logging, and monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services and infrastructure
• Experience profiling and optimizing applications for performance and security
• Ability to identify and execute valuable refactoring opportunities
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience implementing accessibility standards
