Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and maintain kernel security features for PlayStation systems
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement security improvements
• Debug and resolve sophisticated security issues within the kernel
• Supervise and analyze security threats to determine the best course of action
• Assist with open-source projects associated with kernel security
• Maintain code quality through meticulous testing and code reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in C programming
• Experience with kernel development
• Knowledge of kernel security concepts and practices
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of C++
• FreeBSD knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems and low-level programming
• Experience contributing to open-source projects
• Passion for the gaming industry
