Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build a world-class security experience and next-generation tools for Snowflake engineers
• Evolve security infrastructure and tooling to be elastic, large-scale, and highly performant
• Partner with product managers to chart quarterly and long-term roadmaps
• Drive strategy to accelerate the delivery of high-quality software to production
• Address emerging technological trends including AI security and security for AI-driven systems

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience developing tools and backend services
• Strong CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Fluency in Rust, Python, or Golang
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills
• Outstanding written and verbal English language skills
• Experience in the security space is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building guardrails, scanning, or policy controls for AI-assisted software development
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes
• Experience with enterprise-grade build systems like Bazel
• Experience with multi-tenant systems focusing on reliability, performance, and isolation
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with code scanning or cloud scanning
