Responsibilities

• Develop and refine ML models critical to Snowflake’s business
• Design metrics and experiments to validate insights
• Implement projects spanning Java and Python services hosted in Snowflake and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and design
• Deliver features requiring coordination with partner teams
• Participate in defining product vision and team planning
• Pinpoint problems, instrument components, and implement solutions

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• 2+ years maintaining a production system
• 1+ years of working ML experience
• Expertise in Python or Java
• Experience with modern application design, API patterns, performance, and scale
• Proficiency in software engineering best practices including unit testing and code reviews
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in cloud environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
