About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain the platform that powers internal and customer‑facing intelligent services on SingleStore
- Lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from conception to deployment
- Mentor other engineers and drive engineering standards
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and customers to ensure high-quality experiences
- Share on-call responsibilities and improve reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on a SaaS product
- Experience with distributed systems
- Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Rust
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or containerized services
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience building developer platforms, compute platforms, ML platforms, or serverless environments
- Experience with frontend web frameworks like React
- Prior experience leading technical projects
