Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain the platform that powers internal and customer‑facing intelligent services on SingleStore
• Lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from conception to deployment
• Mentor other engineers and drive engineering standards
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and customers to ensure high-quality experiences
• Share on-call responsibilities and improve reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working on a SaaS product
• Experience with distributed systems
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Rust
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or containerized services
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication and mentoring skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience building developer platforms, compute platforms, ML platforms, or serverless environments
• Experience with frontend web frameworks like React
• Prior experience leading technical projects
