Senior Software Engineer, Security Foundations

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale security-by-default capabilities across a complex multi-cloud environment
• Develop intelligent security platforms leveraging AI/ML and risk scoring to identify and respond to threats
• Build real-time detection and prevention systems against account compromise, AI abuse, and data exfiltration
• Create security intelligence and monitoring capabilities to detect suspicious activity
• Partner with Security, Engineering, and Product teams to define strategy and influence product design
• Set standards for system design, code quality, and scalable security architecture

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of software development experience in JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C++, or Go
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar languages for building detections and data pipelines
• Experience designing, testing, and maintaining security-focused software solutions
• Experience leading projects independently and setting technical direction

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience with major cloud vendors such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with secure software development lifecycle or security primitives (static/dynamic analysis, authentication, access management, DDoS, or security scanning)
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
