Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and evolution of the firm's internal Agentic AI platform and associated tooling.
• Design and implement Agentic AI-powered workflows to analyze market news, security data, SEC filings, and other data sources to support investment decisions.
• Create agentic AI tools, contribute to the MCP Server and MCP Gateway, and deploy an agent evaluation framework.
• Partner with product teams and business stakeholders to shape feature definitions and design high-impact AI solutions.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain high code quality and identify opportunities to improve development lifecycles and core platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong preference for Python.
• Proven experience creating and integrating REST APIs and working with event-driven or asynchronous architectures.
• Experience with both relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services (S3, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, etc.) and Kubernetes-driven deployments.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing agentic AI applications, harnesses, MCP servers, or workflows.
• Familiarity with building AI agents or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Experience with observability tooling such as DataDog.
