Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable backend services, microservices, and APIs
• Integrate AI models and data pipelines into core software products
• Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Drive engineering excellence through clean code, testing, and CI/CD
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong React and JavaScript experience for front-end development
• Back-end experience with Django or Node.js
• Proficiency in SQL database design and usage
• Experience with automated testing (unit, component, and browser)
• Experience with APIs and data visualization
• Experience with high-volume or real-time data systems or IoT telemetry is a plus
• Ability to travel 50-75% to client sites during the first year

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to water, wastewater, utilities, or smart infrastructure environments
• Familiarity with time-series databases
