Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Use Claude and AI tooling as a core part of your daily engineering workflow for coding, testing, debugging, and design.
• Direct AI to produce implementations by writing precise specifications and providing architectural context.
• Review AI-generated code for logic errors and edge-case failures to ensure high-quality output.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services within a modern cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality features.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, performance optimization, and automated testing.
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages: Java, C#/.NET, Python, or Go.
• Deep integration of AI tools in your daily workflow and a genuine enthusiasm for AI-augmented engineering.
• Strong ability to write precise, unambiguous technical specifications.
• Strong code review instincts, specifically regarding AI-generated patterns.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience working in lean Agile squads with international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to caching or data grid technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience using Confluence for technical documentation and ADRs.
• Interest in working within the healthcare or regulated industries.
