Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of sophisticated software applications and systems
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Write high-quality, efficient, maintainable, and scalable code
• Debug and resolve complex software defects and performance bottlenecks
• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Perform thorough code reviews to maintain high quality and enforce standards
• Continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of software development experience with large-scale applications
• 3+ years of expert-level experience with TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with NodeJS, Golang, or Ruby
• 3+ years of experience with backend frameworks like Express or Ruby-on-Rails
• Experience with Relational Databases (SQL, Postgres) and ORMs (Prisma, Sequelize, TypeORM)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience using AI for code generation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science or software engineering
• Previous experience with healthcare regulations and compliance
• Full stack programming experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Express, Postgres, REST APIs, and NoSQL
