Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy software-defined capabilities for next-generation RF sensor systems in an Agile environment.
• Develop C++ software running in Linux (Red Hat 8+) environments to support new applications and enhance existing capabilities.
• Build, integrate, and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Create and maintain DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines to support rapid iteration and evolving mission requirements.
• Participate in the development of leading-edge technologies where requirements evolve quickly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in embedded software development using C++.
• Experience developing software within a Linux environment, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8 or newer).
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• An active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance is required prior to the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded or low-level software development, including hardware-interfacing or OS-adjacent work.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and infrastructure such as Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket.
• Experience developing and integrating OMS-based architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile lifecycle processes, including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience developing embedded software for sensors, signal processing, or algorithm development.
