Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Code, test, and integrate C++ real-time signal processing algorithms or control functions for sensor systems on Linux
• Perform defect resolution and maintain/update existing codebases
• Analyze numerical accuracy and runtime latency
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software engineers to implement end-user requirements
• Maintain high code quality through code reviews, static analysis, and continuous integration

Requirements

• STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience
• C++ software development experience in Linux environments
• Experience with networking concepts and protocols
• Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Real-time software development experience
• Proficiency with developer tools such as Git, CMake, GoogleTest, gdb, or Jenkins
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, shell, or bash
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Experience with DPDK, DDS, or Linux device drivers
• Experience with numerical libraries (MKL, FFTW, BLAS, LAPACK) or GPU software (Nvidia CUDA)
• Background in Radar or Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
