Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize core C++ UI frameworks and rendering engines
• Lead technical investigations into system-level bottlenecks, memory leaks, and GPU/CPU synchronization issues
• Develop and maintain low-level graphics APIs and layout systems
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities at the systems level to optimize code generation and performance profiling
• Collaborate with firmware and driver teams for hardware-specific optimizations
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and architectural design sessions
• Drive engineering excellence with advanced debugging tools and automated performance regression suites

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a heavy focus on C++ (C++14/17/20)
• Deep understanding of systems programming, memory management, and multi-threading
• Experience with graphics APIs such as OpenGL, Vulkan, or embedded graphics stacks
• Proficiency in Python for tooling and automation
• Strong root cause analysis skills using tools like GDB or Valgrind
• Knowledge of AI applications and generative AI tools for systems-level development

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of BrightScript or JavaScript
