Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing and new codebases, ensuring high standards of quality, stability, and efficiency
• Support software release processes across multiple branches
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve critical issues to maintain system stability
• Drive release planning, deployment, and rollback procedures
• Maintain and enhance build, test, and release automation pipelines
• Monitor platform health, performance metrics, and operational KPIs post-release
• Collaborate across Creator Platform and broader Rockstar development teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development using C++
• Strong understanding of computing fundamentals
• Ability to manage large codebases and assess risk associated with changes
• Excellent problem-solving and C++ debugging skills
• Understanding of memory layout, padding, and cache efficiency
• Analytical skills for measuring system performance and memory use
• Experience with source control workflows and branch management
• Proficiency with GitLab and/or GitHub and CI/CD systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for games and curiosity about low-level technology
• Experience with User Generated Content (UGC)
• Experience with security engineering
• Experience optimizing complex programs
• Experience with crash dumps
• Experience developing C++ applications for multiple runtime environments
