Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain simulation and modeling tools for aerospace systems
• Develop mission level wargaming tools across space, air, and ground domains
• Design products for analyzing laser communication constellation networks
• Develop web-based application software for Windows and Linux
• Apply UI/UX best practices to create intuitive user interfaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architectures and requirements
• Participate in design reviews (PDR, CDR) and conduct code reviews
• Optimize software performance and scalability for large-scale simulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience (Senior I) or 8+ years of experience (Senior II) in software development
• Proficiency in C#/.NET and Angular
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and building RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
• Master's or PhD in a technical field
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
• Knowledge of network programming (Sockets, WebSockets)
• Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, SQLite)
• Experience with space mission analysis tools like STK
• Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum environments
• Advanced knowledge of Angular NgRx
