Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software to build foundational infrastructure for agentic AI applications
• Design and maintain pipelines that ingest, transform, and act on data to support AI agent workflows
• Drive best practices in microservice architecture to ensure systems are consistent, scalable, and operationally sound
• Lead the transition of agentic applications from prototype to production, focusing on reliability and observability
• Own the full service lifecycle, including design, building, testing, deployment, and iteration
• Mentor teammates and serve as a technical resource for engineering best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 8 years of related software engineering experience
• Strong experience designing and building microservices with production best practices (service boundaries, logging, tracing, metrics)
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, async patterns, and event-driven systems
• Strong hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud infrastructure
• Systems-thinking mindset with the ability to reason about component interaction and recovery
• Demonstrated ability to productionalize software in emerging problem spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI or similar async frameworks
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, or S3
• Familiarity with healthcare data and PHI compliance requirements (HIPAA)
• Exposure to agent-to-agent (A2A) protocols or multi-agent system design
• Experience leading sub-functional teams or complex projects
