Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of large, ambiguous feature initiatives across multiple services and micro-frontends
• Define and evolve architecture for microservices and micro-frontends, focusing on long-term maintainability and operational excellence
• Drive cross-team technical alignment and influence roadmap and sequencing decisions
• Partner with teams to design, implement, and improve Kubernetes infrastructure and service reliability
• Advance automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical coaching
• Support production systems through incident response, root-cause analysis, and prevention-focused follow-up

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping and operating production systems at scale
• Strong production experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language
• Strong production experience with React or a similar web application framework
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical design for complex, distributed systems
• Experience designing and implementing automated testing suites
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Spring Boot
• Proficiency with TypeScript and GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog
• Experience working with AI development tools like GitHub Copilot
