Senior Software Engineer, React

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of new features and expand existing functionality for AI-powered litigation software.
• Create high-quality applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop and review designs, code, unit tests, system tests, and documentation.
• Collaborate in root cause analysis to diagnose, isolate, and fix software problems.
• Identify and correct issues that impact performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Demonstrate work products to the team and investigate new technologies to improve the product.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in front-end software engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience consuming RESTful interfaces.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, code quality, and CI/CD.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity (four days per week onsite in Chicago).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of C# and RESTful application development and testing.
• Experience with SCSS for front-end styling.
• Interest in data visualization, machine learning, and large-scale data processing.
