Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams using agile software development techniques
• Plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications
• Take responsibility for software products, contributing as a team member or leading small software teams
• Manage the full product development lifecycle, including architecture, design, integration, test, and field support

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and practices
• Experience with Agile lifecycle processes, including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development
• Experience developing on Red Hat Linux or an equivalent operating system
• U.S. Citizenship is required to access US-only data systems and obtain security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and secure software development
• Experience leveraging Generative AI and Machine Learning to improve productivity
• Experience with gRPC, Protobufs, or Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) like VxWorks or INTEGRITY
• Familiarity with Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles
• Domain knowledge in Radars, EO/IR, Electronic Warfare, or Network Communications
