Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate object-oriented software applications using C# and C++ within Microsoft Visual Studio
• Develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers to support weapon system product development and factory production
• Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation in a multidiscipline engineering environment
• Prioritize and manage multiple software engineering tasks concurrently
• Develop and derive requirements for software products

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience, or an Advanced degree with 3 years of experience
• Proficiency in C, C#, or C++ programming languages within a test environment
• Experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques
• Knowledge of software driver development for computer hardware interfaces
• Working knowledge of data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, or RS-422
• Experience with laboratory test instrumentation like oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters
• Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML), Agile, or Waterfall lifecycles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure DevOps Server or GitHub
